Bag It

Every month, lots of the bikers of Manchester meet at the Central Library in town at 6pm. They ride around the city winning back the roads, if only for a few hours. Every now and then, PoWWow will put on a little event to form the end of the great bike ride and this month we are doing another. We invite the riders to chug their way to the Platt Fields Park Boathouse, where we will welcome them with an enchanting twilight film screening of environmental film “Bag It”. Check out the trailer below for more info….

We’ll be serving up some super cheap vegan and highly delicious dinner for you all + laying out the sofas and blankets to keep people comfy. If the air turns a chill, then please feel free to warm yourselves up on the pedal powered rig, which we’ll be powering the film on. As the night draws in, we’ll light the lanterns and the festoon lights to create our usual cozy cheery atmosphere. 8th Day food co-op will also be along to instigate some themed discussions from the movie, all levels of participation welcome for this.

When all is said and done and it is time to go home, please leave the park in numbers and leave no trace.
