Anna has been painting murals with schools and community groups since graduating in 2005 with a Fine Art degree so it seemed only natural to combine our three favourites - paint, pedals and people!

Community murals create a colourful and celebratory stamp for any space - the more public the better!

Working with groups from conception of ideas - to design - to completion of the projects enables total ownership from participants. We think this way of working has led to the incredible longevity of the murals over the years and largely unscathed by vandalism.

I taught myself how to use Photoshop as putting on D.I.Y bike festivals were usually done on zero quids budgets so this was the only way to get the word out there to the various communities we were trying to reach. In the digital art section below you'll find a collection of posters, flyers and spoke cards which I designed to help bring our events alive!

MCR Women Bike was an online photographic competition which I ran throughout the winter of 2014/15. There was a glaring gap in numbers of women cycling in the city so I wanted to generate some excitement for existing bikers and encourage new women to cycle and gain confidence. Check out the gallery below to see some of the fabulous entries we received! Watch this space for #MCRWomenBike take #2.
